I think it is fairly obvious when you look at the photos I offer in my shop that birds and blooms rank right up there with my cats!! A great day for me is sitting outdoors with my camera, an even better day is when a photo, or two or three...or more, like these happen.
We all have read or have been told about the meaning of a Cardinal at your feeder or in your yard.....good luck omen or not, they are truly a beautiful bird!! This male Cardinal looks as though he was posing for his portrait.
Who doesn't love the beautiful Baltimore Oriole?!? It is comical that they always gravitate to the hummingbird feeder or the prickly Hawthorn tree....especially when I had a feeder supposedly specific to orioles hanging as well!! Probably the Hummingbird having to perch in the tree is due to the fact that the Oriole was monopolizing his feeder!!!
The Tufted Titmouse is a common bird to our W. PA feeder but a little cutie all the same. If I were to caption this photo I am torn between several, but "what are you looking at?" would probably be my first choice.
The American Robin, a bird that really doesn't garner much publicity, is truly a favorite of mine. I followed this little guy around the yard one morning and captured, what I feel are his "best sides"! As I am obviously giving you several options!!!
Finches at the Feeder is another favorite. I was sitting a little distance from the feeder so as not to disturb the activity and was very pleased with the results!
And last, but certainly not least, the pileated woodpecker. I am in awe of this bird, so prehistoric in looks but so beautiful!
Each 5 x 7 photo will be printed on 8 x 10 Canon, matte finish, photo paper. Your print will be placed in a protective plastic sleeve and shipped in a bubble mailer. I have chosen to allow you to furnish the mat and frame for this particular print. But, please feel free to contact me with questions or if you should wish to add a coordinating mat for framing.
