Birds and Butterflies:
I absolutely love to sit outside, camera in hand, on a sunny day watching the birds and hopefully spotting a few butterflies. The photos I chose for each of the cards are just a few of my favorites!!
So, for that nature loving friend, either the Love of Birds or Love of Butterflies would be a great choice for celebrating their birthday!!!
Cats:
It all started with my camera, sitting on the floor in the cat room, at a local rescue!! After all of the work was done, you could get down to the REAL reason for volunteering. Not that cleaning the litter boxes, feeding the cats and giving meds, when needed, wasn't a big reason, the REAL reason was to play with the cats. Socialization is an important part of a rescue, whether it is a cat room or with the dogs. Sadly one of the first questions asked of a volunteer....is the cat litter trained or is that dog housebroken. So spending time with the cats, both playing with and making sure they were comfortable around people, other cats and the litter box was very important.
The cats I am featuring on this card all found their forever homes. For my good volunteer buddy, this was something we both took great pride in....bittersweet but good!!
Dogs:
Ok, so I admit to being that crazy cat lady but I have many friends that think dogs are way better.... Granted, in some cases, they have both a cat and dog. No doubt if our cats were normal we could consider having a dog as well. But since none of ours qualify as normal, I took my camera on the road to capture the pictures that I am featuring on this card. I also need to give credit to two friends for sending me a couple of photos to use!!! Great Card for that dog loving friend!!
As I stated, the photography is my own. Each 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" card is created, printed and folded by me in my Fredonia, PA home. Your card will ship to you within a protective plastic sleeve and in a bubble mailer.
