A great day for me is being outdoors with my camera, an even better day is when a photo, or two or three...or more, like these happen. And, while I am not a great fan of winter, I can and will admit that a snow day can be very pretty!!
We all have read or have been told about the meaning of a Cardinal at your feeder or in your yard.....good luck omen or not, they are truly a beautiful bird!! This male Cardinal was the only "pop" of color on an obviously black and white day!!!
Pine trees touched with frost have an ethereal look to them and I was pleased with the result.
A gift of a fish-eye lens and a beautiful Sunday morning snowfall allowed me to capture the moment. Actually if I would not have taken a number of pictures, no one would have believed that our morning had this look....the snow was gone by evening!!
Each 5 x 7 photo will be printed, on 8 x 10 Canon Pixma, matte finish, photo paper. Your print will be placed in a protective plastic sleeve and shipped in a bubble mailer. I have chosen to allow you to furnish the mat and frame for this particular print. But, please feel free to contact me with questions or if you should wish to add a coordinating mat for framing.
