Didn't we just turn the calendar page to July!?!?  I remember as a kid thinking that August would never come.  By the end of July boredom was setting in and I was running out of fun things to do - now I am thinking, IT CAN'T BE AUGUST ALREADY!!! 

But it is and so we have entered the corn on the cob, wonderful fresh vegetables, and back to school season.  For me, it is time to gear up for the upcoming shows we have scheduled.  So, camera in hand, I spent a day in Conneaut, Ohio and Pymatuning State park - hoping for some shots that I can use on cards, prints or tote bags.  Sadly, W. PA's weather really beat up my flowers this summer, the torrential rains forced me to replace plants purchased in May.  And, as I love to have flowers that attract hummingbirds and butterflies the selection of plants, in late July, at my favorite local greenhouse was pretty slim.  Good for him, not so good for me (and my camera)!
